ABOUT PROJECT
七巧板是什么？
原注：一种智力玩具，由七块几何形小板组成。可随意拼凑成各种不同图形。
当七巧板变成：
名词：新纪元学院第九届戏剧与影像系影像组毕业影展。
动词：组合、组织、拼凑、建构、构造。
形容词：七位毕业生、七种颜色形态各异的个体。创意、整合、无限延伸。
宗旨：
Mission:
* 展示在籍毕业生的毕业作品，充分表现毕业生迈向专业化的成长。
-To display our achievement and growth within the two and a half year course.
* 达致学生和本地观众的一个真正交流平台。
-To provide a communication platform between graduates and local audiences
* 若是这种跨越学生和老师的影展成功，接下来下一届的毕业生可以延续这样的概念，比扩大成为科系也科系之间的交流，甚至可以跨越不同大专学院邀片参展或是联合主办，长期以来可以形成一种大马学生影展的盛事，形成一种特殊文化。

关于《七巧板》
About
七巧板由七块小板块组成，任何一个板块的位置调整都会引起整体形状的变化，最终可形成无穷无尽、千变万化的组合形态。今日的电影就好像七巧板一样，由多种元素组成，结合任何一种艺术媒材都会引起电影整体上的变化，以致形成各种题材或形式的电影。
理性让我们这七块来自不同地方、不同背景的学生得以融洽地拼凑成一个方形；
感性使我们能够在同样切分为七份的架构下，延伸发展至各式图形，变幻莫测。
电影，几乎是当今世代每个人都在玩赏的文化产物，因为爱上电影而开始追梦的人，不计其数。随着摄录技术的创新和和播映媒介趋向普及化，电影成为了现代人的其中一项主要消遣活动，或是创作手段。
当一切文字资讯和视觉影像变得无远弗届、唾手可得时，我们是否也失去了些什么？
拍电影无非就是一个组织、建构的工作。
电影工作者截取了自身与环境、个体与社会的种种历练与体悟，经由整合以后，再透过多种镜头的蒙太奇排序，建构出内容与形式并重的艺术创作品。
在校学习两年半，感悟甚多。
我们这一班即将毕业的第九届戏剧影像系学生，正朝着探索影像与社会的牵系，秉持着“源于社会，回馈社会”的理念，坚信影像能为我们的社会保留着本地的文化情怀，再次向社会宣扬影像艺术的价值。衷心希望我们这七块小板，能够持续探究组织技艺的各种无限可能性。
is made up of seven flat shapes to form a specific shape or various designs. Just like tangram, film is made up of different elements such as arts, literature(screenplay and directing), music, lighting, cinematography, editing and so on.
In the peak of technology advance, we found that something missing deep inside from our soul. Filmmaking is a process of creation, learning and a process for us to examine what shapes us and who we are. Two-and-a-half years on, we are ready to share our dreams and works.

我们的巡回影展将踏足马来半岛各地，南山北下至各地社区、大学和中学，亲近各种来自不同年龄层、教育、文化背景的观众，籍此让更多观众接触更多元的电影风貌。
～提供热爱电影艺术的学子们一个展现自己的机会
巡回影展作为一个平台，能够让学生们在校学习生涯的毕业之际，使尽全力制作出属于自己的短片作品，并对外展示自身的学习成果。
～本地电影艺术需要您的支持
大马电影近年来逐渐抬头，本院科系作为一个非营利教育机构，亦致力栽培众多学生习得电影制作技艺，并鼓舞更多的人投入影视行业，为本土影视文化献一份力。耕耘纵使艰辛，仍需大家的积极推动才有助于发展。
Why do we need your support?
~From Kajang, we kick start our film festival in our college. And then, from Sungai Petani, Penang and all the way down to Ipoh, Malacca and Johor, our film festival will be held in schools, university, and various kind of community which allow us to share our work with people from different career and fields.
~Giving a chance to the film lover to express their words and work.
~Your support toward local film is necessary for the long-term plan of development of local film.

当七巧板变成：
名词：新纪元学院第九届戏剧与影像系影像组毕业影展。

关于《七巧板》
About
七巧板由七块小板块组成，任何一个板块的位置调整都会引起整体形状的变化，最终可形成无穷无尽、千变万化的组合形态。今日的电影就好像七巧板一样，由多种元素组成，结合任何一种艺术媒材都会引起电影整体上的变化，以致形成各种题材或形式的电影。
